REGULATIONS:
- The Salotto Valperga of Turin in collaboration with the the Associazione Mozart Italia of Turin is organizing the first international competition for the performance of Mozart's Concertos for piano and orchestra, violin and orchestra for the best young musicians in the world.
- Musicians from all nations born after 31 December, 1994 can participate. It is not necessary for competitors to possess a diploma from a conservatory.
- The competition will take place in Turin between 8 October, 2013 and 12 October, 2013 at the Concert Hall of the Public Library of Music Andrea Della Corte, located in Corso Francia 186.

- The entry fee is Euro 70 (seventy euros net of any bank or postal currency exchange charges). This fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
A copy of the receipt for the payment transaction must be attached to the application.

- At the Salotto Valperga on 16 September, 2013 at 18.00 hours one letter of the alphabet will be extracted which will be for used for all instruments and will determine the order of competitors for their performances following the timetable set out in paragraph 15.

- The competition will consist of three rounds for each instrument: preliminary round – semi-final - final.
- The preliminary round will consist of giving a performance of the first movement of a Mozart Concerto chosen by the contestant, with piano accompaniment. The pianist will be the official competition accompanist.

The Urtext Edition is recommended.
- No more than twelve competitors for each instrument will be admitted to the semi-final. The semi-finals will consist of giving a performance of the second and third movements of the same Mozart Concerto chosen by the competitor with piano accompaniment.
- Not more than three competitors for each instrument will take part in the final. The final will be a performance of the entire Mozart concert with piano accompaniment.
- The preliminary rounds and semi-finals will be judged by a specific jury. The specific juries will come together to form the jury for the final.
- At the end of the two final performances a winner will be announced for each instrument. The contest will end with a gala concert, on November 8, 2013 at 20:45 in Rovereto Philharmonic Concert Hall, in which the two winners will take part. The winners will receive their prize at the concert.
- Each winner will be awarded a prize of 1,500 Euros, The runner-ups will be awarded a prize of 1,000 Euros and the third place contestants will be awarded a prize of 500 Euro. The Salotto Valperga and the Associazione Mozart di Torino will organize concerts for the two winners who will also be recommended as soloists to various Italian and foreign orchestras.
- Each competitor is responsible for the costs of travel and board and lodgings at Turin. Lodgings will be provided for the winners at Rovereto, but they will be responsible for their own travelling expenses.

Friday - October 11 at 9.00 final Violin
Friday - October 11 at 9.00 final Piano
- All performances at all stages of the competition must be performed from memory.
- In the case of radio or television production of audio/video recordings of performances during the competition and the winners’ concert, contestants are not entitled to make any claim or request regarding such productions and broadcasting entities.
- By signing the contest entry form the competitors, or their parents in the case of minors, declare that they accept the regulations and that the decisions of the jury are final. The original text of this document is in Italian and should be referred to in cases of any doubt over doubt as to the meaning of these regulations.
